Kochi Metro Rail

Kochi Metro  Rail is now going to be a reality within three years.  People of kerala and Kochi Metro have been waiting for the dream project for long years.  The other metro projects were completed in different states will be a guideline for the successful completion of the dream project.  DMRC(Delhi Metro Rail Corporation) would have charge of the proposed Kochi metro rail project.  The  Kerala state government had earlier decided to give charge to DMRC.

Kochi Metro Rail Route and Stations

Kochi Metro network will cover 25 km  From Aluva to Trippunithura  and have 23 stations.

The total cost of the project would be Rs.5,181.79 crore. It is scheduled to be completed in four years.  Kochi Metro will be in  fully elevated form and on on standard gauge. Former Delhi Metro chief E. Sreedharan has been entrusted with the work in Kochi.

Construction 

 The construction of Kochi Metro Rail will start from Aluva..  DMRC  will complete the KochiMetro Rail  project Under the leadership of E.Sreedharan.

Teachers Package
